Designed for you
ARU recognises and gives credit for your military training and depending on your current qualifications and experience you may qualify for advanced entry through Accredited Prior Learning (APL). APL takes into account any previous qualifications or courses you have completed either before or during your service. It also takes into account your rank and experience so that the skills, knowledge and experience you have developed can be taken into account.
Depending on your individual circumstances APL can help you meet the course entry requirements or reduce the amount of time it takes to complete the qualification which in turn can reduce the cost of studying. If you have any questions about APL and how you might be able to benefit then please do not hesitate to contact us and our military adviser will be happy to discuss your options.
